So I was gardening tonight, and there on the wall was a fairly intimidating spider... classic long dancing legs, round belly, hourglass red mark ... and I knew what to do.
CALL JORDAN!
Which I did and he rescued the widow, carried it far far away, to widow somewhere else.
Life in Eden is imperfect.

Lance said to tell you he's sent about a dozen of them to "widow heaven". :) We've got a lot of them!!
yet somehow beautiful...
You shouldn't kill predators, and widow spiders are a top order predator. If you take out all the predators, you garden and yard and home will be filled with mosquitoes and flies and Japanese beetles and earwigs and little orphan children with monkey pox.
We had plenty of these BLACK Widow's in AZ...when we had little children. The two are not a good mix. In the summer we would take a flash light and go hunting! They are stunned by the light. Sorry Vincent, little ones were the TOP ORDER. In the city there is no safe place to take them.
